Dr. Zoutman – Emeritus Professor, Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, Queens University
Dr. Zoutman is a Professor in the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Queens University, Kingston, Toronto. He’s also a Professor of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at the Community of Health and Epidemiology of Medicine, once again at Queen’s University.
In November of 2011, Dr. Zoutman assumed the role of Chief of Staff at Quinte Healthcare Corporation and, more recently, was appointed Chief Medical Officer at Medizone International.
The primary focus of his investigative work has been the use of modern quality improvement methods in the prevention and control of healthcare associated infections as well as new sterilization and disinfection methods.
Dr. Zoutman is a past Physician Director and Honorary Member for CHICA Canada. He also has his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Healthcare.
